Banner Health also specializes in Alzheimer’s research, Burn care, Behavior health, and high-risk obstetrics (Kuhn & Lehn, 2015).

Honor Health in Brief

HonorHealth is in the business of providing an integrated system of care and accessible healthcare to patients and communities within the state of Arizona. The health system comprises HonorHealth Piper Surgery Center, six hospitals in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Honor Health Medical Group and Children’s Emergency (Mundi et al. 2016).

Strengths for Banner Health

It has a team of experts including more than 6,000 physicians, dedicated employees numbering 12,865, and 3,000 plus caring volunteers who work as partners (Honor Health Annual Report, 2019).

Weaknesses of Banner Health

The business units for Banner Health are small and are situated in a very competitive market. The main competitors are Honor Health, which has an expanded network of specialized physicians and high-quality primary care. Other weaknesses associated with Banner Health are productivity, future debt rating, future profitability, and tax structure. The organization is still employing traditional marketing strategies such as radio stations and billboards despite other effective social media strategies (Banner Health Annual report, 2019).

Weaknesses of Honor Health

            The decision-making process is sometimes difficult to achieve due to bureaucracy being a large organization composed of 29 hospitals.
