Dear Administrator,
I would like to recommend XXX, a Registered Nurse, for the hospital’s Emergency
Medical Technician and Paramedic position. At Mayo, XXX has worked as a registered nurse for
twelve years. As much as she enjoys working with people, she would want to work at a hospital
where she can build patient relationships. Although I will miss her at the office, I am confident
you will have a chance to work with her in the hospital should you hire her for the EMT job.
She is an ideal RN, and through the characteristics she portrayed, she can make a good
EMT due to her ability to remain calm in stressful conditions. She is also competent because she
is flexible, has good interpersonal skills, and portrays a positive attitude towards the job. She is
always upbeat, no matter the scenario, and has a great capacity to motivate and inspire her
teammates. Because of her enormous excitement and energy, XXX is typically the driving force
behind her team. She’s a natural under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced work atmosphere. I
feel that her twelve years of experience in a busy pediatric clinic have appropriately prepared her
for the demands of a hospital setting.
All of the minor surgical operations in the office have been made easier by XXX’s
assistance to the other pediatricians and myself. In her crucial role as an emergency technician, I
have complete faith in her ability to maintain the hospital’s system. Sincerely caring about others
yet being calm and competent, she is a perfect example of a well-balanced professional.
I still recommend XXX for the hospital’s EMT and paramedic position. The entire staff of
mayo pediatrics will immensely miss her duty as a registered nurse. Still, I am confident she will
make an excellent emergency medical technician if given a chance to perform her many
exceptional skills.
