Personal Worldview of Leadership Models
The process of developing one's model of leadership will need the identification of
what it is that they value to be consistent and successful leaders. As nurse leaders, we come
into various scenarios that need a variety of abilities to deal with the issue effectively. This is
difficult since nurses have to interact with a wide range of individuals, including the elderly,
the young, and the young. Nurse managers and leaders are confronted with these difficult
circumstances and must learn how to deal with them. We must look at those who have
achieved success and how they have carried their leadership qualities with them. The results
of this will assist us in learning and identifying new leadership talents and strategies.
Benchmarking one's leadership abilities as a nurse helps one be more prepared to deal with
the difficulties and challenges that arise (Madsen, 2016). These aid in adapting to a new
environment and inspiring others in their respective fields. Benchmarking against individuals
and organizations who are doing better in nursing leadership is a crucial step toward
improving an individual's leadership abilities in the field of nursing. It is expected that the
personal leadership model will be extensively used in the nursing profession after a nurse has
thoroughly grasped it.
A more conceptualized leadership model is being developed at the corporate level, an
exciting proposal. The personal leadership model that I have developed will be implemented
in various facets of my work setting. As a mediator between professional leadership and
voluntary collaboration in the nursing area, this will be used (Madsen, 2016). This will have
an impact on the personal interactions amongst the nurses. The specific leadership style will
serve as a tool to link individuals and encourage collaboration, resulting in more positive
interactions between nurses and the general public. This will assist in elevating a company to
the next level since enhanced leadership abilities will be present throughout the nursing

industry as a result of this. When it comes to giving direction, method, and coordination to
nursing professionals to achieve its objectives, the leadership model will influence the
profession.
Leadership Model Comparison
Personal leadership is one of the models promoted as examples of nursing leadership.
It is concerned with one's personal behavior and how it affects one's ability to carry out the
tasks and obligations of professional leadership positions. These responsibilities include the
qualities of trust, compassion, and competence. Executive teams must trust their leaders'
expertise and have faith in the leaders' ability to execute their tasks. On the other hand,
servant leadership emphasizes bringing value to the followers' lives. This guarantees that the
followers' leadership abilities are strengthened, hence increasing the overall performance of
the organization's workers. Servant leadership differs from personal leadership in that
personal leadership persons gain leadership skills independently, while servant leadership
individuals receive leadership skills from others.
Another leadership paradigm related to nursing is the transformational theory, which
contains many distinct aspects. Following the acquisition of leadership skills from those who
have achieved nursing success, it becomes evident that personal leadership and
transformational leadership models are connected in various ways. There is just one goal for
them: to strengthen the organization and to get better outcomes in general (Kurt, 2016).
However, they vary in style in that the personal leadership model is concerned with the
development of an individual. In contrast, the transformation leadership model is concerned
with developing the organization. The transformational theory facilitates attaining the
organization's goals first and foremost before anything else.

Despite the ideas discussed above, another notion connected to personal leadership
should be considered. This idea is known as the rational leadership theory. It sees leadership
as a social construction that can be used to develop a more specific understanding of the role
of a leader. The relationship strategy is one of the most powerful and dynamic administration
systems. In relational leadership, one assists others in producing high-quality results.
