Reflection Paper
The evidence-based programs are numerous programs that have been subjected to
testing in a controlled setting, confirmed effective, and are translated to working models that
are largely available to the community-based firms. In this reflection paper, I will reflect on the
information achieved on the implementation of evidence-based strategies and their evaluation.
Question 1: Reflection on the last few weeks’ classes
The idea of making treatment or clinical decisions considering the available data is
generally the evidence-based treatment or evidence-based practice. According to Bonvecchio et
al. (2019), the evaluation for these programs is subjected to significant peer review. It is of high
confidence that these programs are delivering the best and when implemented are likely to
improve the health of the constituents. Have learned about the necessity of adaptation that may
occur when implementing the evidence-based program, this adaptation is significant since it is
always had to recreate the parameter of the real context on with the initial practice was
implemented. This knowledge influenced me to be flexible since the implementation of this
program needs flexibility and adaptability.
Evidence-based programs always focus on providing a positive outcome for users
through implementing functioning program design and having a planned process. The main
challenge that I have learned in this cause is the risk inherent in the service scheme. This is
risking since a larger percentage of programs have failed to deliver to their maximum to the
user’s issue of inherent (Rodrigo, 2016). However, the large organizational workforce
competence and factors within the firm's control may improve the implementation quality. The
other thing that I have learned is the great relation between quality implementation and,
workforce competence, firm's capacity, for example, leadership and resourcing, adherence to
the model, and outcome evaluation.
Question 2(a): The surprising information achieve within the term
The most surprising and significant issue I have learned this term is the implementation
of evidence-based programs. This includes the numerous advantages of the implementation of
such programs to the users and haw effectiveness of the quality of these programs. The most
advantage of this program is that it is generalizable to health care firms and its component is
achievable under minimal addition of assets (Harris et al., 2015). The other appealing
advantage is that this program assures effectiveness. This program achieves its quality through
rigorous evaluation and this has made its effect on health care. It is worth noting that the
effective potentiality of these programs is highly appealing than those unproven (Brown et al.,
2017). However, individuals implementing this program need to be keen on the assumption of
the effectiveness of implementation.
b) The significant practical information learnt this term and its applicability in the
professional field.
This term was resourceful and mostly when it comes to practical information. I have
gather baskets full of practical information and above all, that literature is the backbone of all
quality researches. Since the evidence-based program relies on the database information from
the peer review, it has become tractable to me that new ideas and researches from the peer
review can create new programs. I intend to use this information in my professional field as a
tool to bring new knowledge and widen the field of healthcare.
c) Question on the topics covered in the term
Learning is an interactive process and this interaction among students and between
students and enforcers makes learning more effective. I will thus engage my fellows with this
question that have been disturbing me; to what extent does the evidence-based program impact
the users?
In conclusion, the term has been of great help to me, it was flooded with basic and
significant ideas that I will always translate in practical in the field of my profession and for
personal skills. The Healthcare field is very significant and the knowledge acquired this term
will play a major role in my entire professional life.
